CompreBem is a supermarket chain in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro states, in Brazil, owned by Grupo Pão de Açúcar (GPA).

Grupo Pão de Açúcar Supermarket chain, focuses on offering products used daily by people and families throughout the regions they serve. The Group has 28 stores in the state of São Paulo, two in the capital and another 26 in the interior and in Baixada Santista.


Time constraints were the biggest challenge for IT to enable the new “click and pick up” service and delivery model in the e-commerce system.

Compre Bem’s operations were considered essential for trade, and this further stressed the need for rapid deployment of the new service model.


Compre Bem needed to enable a new “click and pick up” service and e-commerce delivery model amid the new coronavirus pandemic.

This service implementation became a high priority to avoid agglomerations of too many plugins and API connections within their system.


Macro integration flow, where Digibee connected the ecommerce system with the new service (click and pick up / home delivery) based on the Transport Management System.


In less than 2 weeks, Digibee made it possible to integrate and orchestrate ecommerce systems with the POS systems of Compre Bem, providing the new “Click and Pick Up” ecommerce service


Digibee already had a successful track record with Assaí, which is also part of the Grupo Pão de Açúcar Supermarket group.

In prior work with the group, Digibee was able to solve and enable integration in a fast and practical way, without complications.

For the next steps, Digibee is developing integrations with terms of payment for financial reconciliation and integration for sale through James Delivery, by the GPA group.
